Aloo Puffs (shortcut version!)
There’s nothing as nostalgic as a bakery style veg aloo puff, so I made these easy, shortcut aloo puffs at home. They’re flaky, crispy and so, so good ♡

- 1/3 cup green peas, boiled
- 3 tbsp garlic chutney (or any chutney of your choice)
- salt, to taste

- cream or egg wash, to brush

- kasundi aam chutney, to serve with
- green chutney, to serve with
Equipment
Instructions:
- Add boiled potatoes to a bowl and mash them with a fork. Add boiled green peas, salt and any chutney of your choice, I used spicy garlic chutney. Mix everything well. You can also add vegetables, chutneys or spices of your choice, the filling is completely customisable. For the most basic version, simply mix potatoes and green peas with a flavourful chutney and season with salt.
- Take thawed puff pastry squares and generously spread the aloo filling. Fold each square diagonally to form a triangle and press the edges gently with a fork to seal them.
- Brush the tops with cream or egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Airfry at 180°C for 10–15 minutes or bake at 180°C for 15–20 minutes till the puffs are golden and flaky. Serve hot with chutneys of your choice, enjoyy!
