Ingredients
- 1 tbsp (15 g) brown butter (or melted salted butter)
- 1 tbsp (13 g) brown sugar
- 1/2 tbsp (7 g) white sugar
- 3/4 tbsp (10 g) milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 3 tbsp (24 g) all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp (1.5 g) cornstarch, optional
- 1/16 tsp (0.25 g) baking soda
Mix Ins + Toppings
- 1 tbsp (15 g) dark chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp (15 g) dark chocolate callets
- sprinkle of flaky sea salt (to top)
Equipment
Instructions:
- For the cookie dough, whisk together brown sugar, white sugar, milk, vanilla essence and brown or melted salted butter in a bowl until well combined.
- Sift in all purpose flour, cornstarch and baking soda and mix gently until just combined and then fold in the chocolate chips and callets.
- Scoop the dough onto parchment paper and top with more chocolate chips.
- Bake: Oven: 180°C for 8-10 mins ; OTG: 180°C for 10-13 mins ; Airfryer: 170°C for 7-9 mins until the cookie is golden and mostly set.
- Sprinkle with flaky salt while warm and let cool slightly to set before enjoying!
Note:
- Airfryer hack: Fold the corners and edges of your parchment paper slightly to weigh it down: this prevents it from flying up or gathering around the cookie, allowing your cookie to spread perfectly!
- Don't overmix the dough after adding the dry ingredients: this ensures your cookie stays nice and chewy instead of tough.
- Use a mix of chocolate chips and chunks to get both perfect little bites of chocolate and pools of melty goodness!

Good cookie but weird aftertaste
It was the best thing I ever made in my air fryer. Even my family loved it!! this was probably the first thing I loved made by myself! as a 13 year-old I just love it!!!! and I have no more sweet cravings now!! thanks a lot!!
Made nicely just had to add more flour as it got slightly gooey other than that I love it so much nice and chewy with a perfect bite into chocolate chips
This is an amazing recipe. I have made it so many times now!!! Such a saviour!! Thankyou!
Thanks for your recipe @shivangipithisaria
It turned out amazingly good and everyone loved it!! Hope you shall post more such recipes like this!!!
really yummy! i love how easy this recipe is! it fulfilled my craving and also, instead of molding it into a huge cookie, i divided into mini cookies (which resulted in 6 mini cookies – or cookies bites)!
i just want to know if it’s possible to keep it to eat it later on or even in the next day? and if i can keep it unrefrigerated for a few hours to eat it later (i’m unsure of it since it has both butter and milk, so i’m a bit afraid)?
Omggg it was soooo good tysm Shivangi I’m only 13 and I learned to make the perfff cookie such a proud moment 😝
i made a huge batch of 50 cookies (even tho im a minor :p) and i made the cookies a little small and it was amazing!! some ice cream is recommended in my opinion
10/10 loved it
