Strawberry Avocado Sago

Strawberry season is almost over and if you haven’t made strawberry sago yet, this is your sign. It’s cold, creamy, and packed with so many fun textures: chewy sago, bouncy coconut jelly and a surprising creamy twist with avocado!

Strawberry and avocado might not be the first combination that comes to mind but they just work so so good together. The sweetness of strawberries balances the buttery richness of avocado: making each bite smooth yet refreshing.

I took inspiration from the classic Filipino avocado dessert which has condensed milk, milk and crushed ice and combined it with sago and coconut jelly to create something even better. Plus, the addition of gond katira not only adds a fun jelly like texture but is also super hydrating.
