Hot Honey Paneer Sandwich

Ingredients
Breaded Paneer
- 2 thick slices paneer (1 per sandwich)
- Wet Mix: 1/4 cup all purpose flour + 1/4 cup cornflour + onion powder + garlic powder + chilli powder + salt + pepper + water
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- oil for frying
Hot Honey Sauce
- 1/4 cup red chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp chilli oil
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp honey
Assembly
- bread
- mayonnaise
- lettuce
- tomato slices
- cucumber slices
- pickled jalapeños
- spicy fried paneer
Instructions:
- Slice your paneer into even pieces.
- Make the wet mix by adding flour, cornstarch, spices and water in a bowl. It should be thick enough to coat the paneer.
- Dip each paneer slice into the wet mix and then coat it properly with the breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer on both sides till it turns golden and crisp.
- Make the hot honey sauce by combining red chilli sauce, chilli oil, ketchup and honey. Once the paneer is fried, toss it in the sauce so everything is coated well.
- Toast bread with butter on a pan till crispy.
- Assemble the sandwich by spreading mayo on both slices, layer lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, pickled jalapeños, the paneer and close the sandwich.
- Slice in half and enjoyy!
