This is my single serve butter marble cake and it’s exactly what it sounds like: a tiny, buttery marble cake that comes together very quickly in the airfryer. The batter is a simple mix of softened butter, sugar, vanilla, yogurt and a splash of milk which keeps it moist and gives it that classic bakery style crumb while flour, baking powder and baking soda bring in the structure. I take a small portion of the vanilla batter and mix it with cocoa powder and warm milk to make the chocolate swirl so you get that perfect mix of chocolate and vanilla in every bite. It’s the cutest, quickest cake to make when you want something sweet!

- 1/2 tbsp (4 g) cocoa powder

Instructions:
- Make the wet mixture: In a bowl, whisk softened butter, sugar and vanilla until well combined. Add the yogurt and milk and whisk till the mixture looks lighter and fluffier.
- Add the dry ingredients: Sift in the allpurpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt. Mix till the batter is nice and smooth.
- Make the chocolate batter: Take a small portion of the vanilla batter in a separate bowl. Mix in cocoa powder and warm milk to create the chocolate batter.
- Layer the batters: Grease a small ramekin. Add spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batter alternately and swirl gently with a skewer or toothpick to get the marbled effect.
- Airfry the cake: Airfry at 170°C for 11–13 minutes. Let it cool slightly before removing it from the ramekin.
- Finish with chocolate: Dip the top of the cooled cake in melted chocolate and sprinkle some flaky salt. Your mini marble cake is ready.
