Strawberry matcha is one of those drinks that feels indulgent but still light and fresh and this version brings together everything we all love about it. The mashed strawberries at the bottom add sweetness and a bit of texture, the matcha is whisked properly so it’s smooth and foamy and the strawberry cream on top gives that café style finish without too much effort. Every layer brings a different flavour and it all comes together in the glass: the fresh strawberries, the creamy milk, the earthy matcha and that fluffy strawberry cream. It looks pretty, tastes even better and takes only a few minutes to put together!

- 1/3-1/2 cup warm water
Strawberry Cream
- 3 tbsp cream
- 1 tbsp mashed strawberries

Instructions:
- Take clean strawberries, chop them, add them to a bowl and mix with a sweetener of your choice, I used monk fruit sweetener. Give everything a good mix and mash it lightly with a fork.
- To make the matcha, take a bowl and sift in your matcha. Add some warm water and whisk it for a solid minute till it’s smooth and nice and foamy.
- For the strawberry cream, add some cream to a bowl along with a spoon of the mashed strawberries we made earlier, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Whisk till it turns light and fluffy.
- To assemble, take a glass and add the mashed strawberries. Top with lots of ice, pour in your milk of choice, I used regular cow’s milk, pour over the matcha and finish with the strawberry cream. Your drink is ready, enjoyy!
